A new Brazilian bistro/lounge with outdoor patio, opened up on the Lower East Side in New York City. The name of the restaurant is: Berimbau. Berimbau is a key instrument used in the legendary Brazilian martial arts - Capoeira. Berimbau has been visited by Lady Gaga, Noel of America's Next Top Model, MTV's Real World Cast Members, the Knicks' Dancers, amongst many others!

Michelle Obama's Inauguration Ensemble by Isabel Toledo is on display at The Museum at FIT through September 26th. A retrospective of the designer's work fittingly called "Isabel Toledo: Fashion From the Inside Out," includes the now famous yellow satin-backed wool guipure sheath and matching overcoat. The Cuban-born designer shares over three decades of design, showing 70+ looks, and drawings by her equally talented fashion illustrator husband Ruben Toledo in this amazing exhibit that raises intrigue for both fashion followers and history buffs alike.
