|Pamella Roland Spring 2007
Pamella Roland showed an exotic collection influenced by her travels to the Galapagos Islands. These ethereal elements were complimented with the innate beauty of a woman. The color palette here was more vibrant than many of this seasonís collections and was offset by ivory, white and black, which allowed Roland's collection to easily navigate between the realm of dark and light.
Roland also incorporated menís suitings in plaid wool, to contradict the weightless femininity of the collection, adding a touch of form and restraint in her tailored coats and suits. Taffeta, charmeuse, silk shantung, cottons, wools and even suede mingled with each other on the runways like a fashionistas at an after party. Flirty chiffon gowns, dreamy cotton dresses and an assortment of separates provided the perfect combination to evoke Roland's milieu this season.
