Park Choon Moo  New York Fashion Week Fall 2013

Fashion Ledge - Park Choon Moo
Swathed in layers, the gals (and a few guys) of the Parkchoonmoo show were decked out with an icy sensibility for fall 2013. Designer Demi Park had nature on her mind with visions of the Arctic motivating the collection.

Dressed to vibe with the sleek yet geometric features of glaciers, body hugging silhouettes were unpolluted even with cutouts and piecing. Dresses and tunics inserted femininity between ensembles with draped trousers. Wrapped in black, white, cream, and charcoal for warmy winter weather – oversized appears necessary considering, rather than swallowed. In appropriate for the elements fabrics like water repellent leathers, wool, and cashmere – cold weather living looks are fresh with an edge.

The clothes were paired with white sneakers for women, and the simple styling worked well. Hair by Nick Irwin for Catwalk by TIGI was slicked back into a low pony tail, exposing fresh, almost naked façade. A clean dream from the north transformed for runway.
