Naomi Campbell joined 7th On Sixth and the M·A·C Aids Fund, in presenting Fashion for Relief - a special fashion show to close Olympus Fashion Week and raise money for those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
At 9 PM on Friday, September 16th, "Fashion for Relief" featured a runway show open to the public at the Tents in Bryant Park. From Lindsay Lohan, Beyonce, Nicole Ritchie to Cindy Crawford and Molly Sims, celebrities and models graced the catwalk in two looks each from a handful of top designers, including Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Zac Posen, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan and more.
"We conceived Fashion for Relief as a way to raise money for the Hurricane Katrina relief and show that the fashion community can stand together and help in this time of crisis," Campbell said. "Everyone tries to find something they can do to help and what we know best is fashion."
Ralph Lauren designed a commemorative T-shirt for the occasion, available for $35 at www.polo.com, also benefiting AmeriCares.
