The stories behind each collection of Jsong...Way are always riveting! Case in point: In order "to imagine new forms of clothes for a more beautiful world", Way Zen blindfolded herself and relied on breathing exercises that inspired and anchored her spring 2010 aesthetic.
What emerged is a linen and silk collection that seamlessly continues the dialogue from last season of wearable items, filled with pops of color. Fuschia, green, crisp whites, aqua, peach, and orange dominate the palette. A form-fitting silhouette is employed on long dresses, chic mini skirts, decorated jackets and one-shoulder dresses.
The Jsong...Way gal still retains her much-adored floral embroidery in a myriad of styles and cutouts (in some instances, toned down), and pleats are plenty. She finds creativity such as a khaki linen blouse with a butterfly-looking back and another has a leaf back. High-waisted belts take center stage this season - - thin snake-like belts and chunky ones (in black, brown, white, and orange) add punch to ensembles.
