Nicole Miller's Spring/Summer 2014 collection began with a vision of Versailles. She envisioned the beautiful palace being stormed by courageous peasant women. From that idea the collection was born. Patterns that resembled broken china were juxtaposed against geometric patterns to resemble hedges in a magnificent garden. White jeans were embellished and ripped. At the end of the show the models walked out simultaneously and held hands as they took the runway.
