John Varvatos Fall/Winter 2004 On the Streets of Soho, there is a melting pot of culture, architecture, style and a unique way of life. John Varvatos Fall/Winter 2004 collection draws its inspiration from those very streets. From the industrial residential lofts, to the shops, restaurants and galleries, there is a convergence of urban sophistication and simplicity contrasted by raw city life.
John Varvatos mixes the rustic textures with luxurious refined elements. Antiqued leathers, shearlings and washed wools are contrasted by the softer silk charmeuse, cashmeres and fur trims. Shades of espresso, midnight, black and cordovan take on a deep saturated feel. Paired with copper, chartreuse, fern and brick, they create a sensual allure.
