Black cashmere coats with tulle hems.
Silk dresses adorned with Antep handmade lace.
Metallic, jacquard and patchwork jackets easily carry you
Ecru shawl collars, powder pink vented overcoats, and black
organza ribbed skirts delicately frame the body.
This is the harmony of textiles and technology. Endless
inspiration derived from designer BAHAR KORCAN Istanbul,
who is already in her second Bryant Park debut for Fall 2004.
"In Istanbul there are thousands of stories hidden under every
stone we step on. My collections are continually inspired by the
magic within this city and Turkey," designer Bahar Korean says,
"but designed, more importantly, for women all over the world."
Set to the music composed by renowned Turkish songwriter
Rahman Altin and choreographed by Ugurkan Erez, Bahar
continues to fuse her entertainment roots with her unique design
Since 1992, Bahar has been exhibiting her collections around the
world, winning the "Best Young Designer" award in Turkey's
"Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters5 Association" (ITKIB)
competition, recognizing her as an international design talent.
