After celebrating its 15th year this summer, Luca Luca came home for the S/S 08 show in a very upbeat mood. Straying away from bold and stark collection of winter, this collection breezed through sweetly. Muted colors and subtle finishing techniques encompassed the entire collection, showing us how the design staff interpreted stained glass, which served as the inspiration.
Light weight fabrics softened the mood even more so, in silk chiffon pants, linen trench coats and cotton organza separates. Applique and embroidery were about as heavy as the collection got, when shown on top of cocktail and evening wear.
This season she's sweet and sassy, well that's the way Luca Luca envisioned their muse. A very wearable collection with a few statement pieces in between.
