As many designers decided to this year to opt for a more personal approach. Tracey Reese turns her showroom into her private living room for fall 2002 collection. The “love the” comes alive with a modern retro feel to items many of us have seen our older sisters wear to socialize in. Tracey uses various color schemes and patterns, and added a romantic touch with hand embroidered pea coats and chiffon peasants blouses. She epitomizes the “feminine chic” with her eponymous collection Tracey Reese, and her fanciful, plenty line; both in which have been fashions favorite since the her beginnings. Ms. Rees brings a special eye for detail and a specific point of view to her work. A graduate of Parsons school of Design, her extensive knowledge of color, fabric and form are evident in every piece she designs—both from a creative and technical perspective. While her apparel is often whimsical and breezy, her approach to design is quite deliberate. She combines modern technology with vintage flair with ease, and make the style a look that is clearly her own.
Both Tracey Reese and plenty are sold nationwide to top department stores and
specialty boutiques including Bergdorf Goodman, Sak Fifth Avenue, Henri Bendel
