Designer Brain Reyes commenced his collection with the elegant grace of an angel. From the start of the collection Reyes' focus was obvious as he showed a soft silk chiffon pleated blouse. He then veered into subtly crafted tulle and lace dresses that embraced his ideals on women’s wear. His muted collection traveled down the path of black, pewter and moss, but turned up the octaves with hints of emerald, turquoise and indigo.
While Brain accessorized the collection with a gauntlet of patent leather belts, he was still able to retain an aura of sophistication and confidence. The detail-oriented pieces covered a spectrum of ranges, from shadowed lace dresses, cashmere boleros and elegant pleated blouses. His long sleeve striped lace blouse, high-waisted tulle pom-pom skirt, a chiffon pleat front blouse, and a silk-stripped shirtdress were eye catchers. The heart stopper was a stripped lace shirtdress that was crafted so elegantly it looked as if it fell out of heaven. Brian's tulle gowns shown at the end seemed a bit out of place and took the looker in a whirlwind, but his effort overall was a much needed relief in this grim season. Think modern, think sexy, but definitely not over the top.
