JSong Way  NY Fashion Week Fall 2010

Fashion Ledge - JSong Way
JSong…Way Fall 2010: In Nature’s Magical Garden

There is an unstated charm to the JSong…Way collection - - a collection that straddles the line between “the woman you are and the woman you want to be”. An ivory crepe dragonfly dress is at first glance simple, but underscores the deft workmanship that the JSong…Way woman has come to appreciate. Floral embroidered details in a myriad of styles and shapes remain a staple of this collection - - beautifully executed in a black cotton suede cut-out blouse that mimics the movement and aesthetic of leaves. Gold-toned leaf earrings add a youthful vibrancy to this ensemble.

A form fitting silhouette remains relevant and works well on a 3-D pleated dress and a blue georgette dress. Browns, reds, yellows, and blues lend vibrancy to the collection as in a brown jersey poncho. Sequins, which have dominated the runway this season, appear in a muted fashion in a red crepe trumpet skirt and add the right punch to a black/white crepe sequin dress.
