The 9th annual Gen Art Styles International design competition and runway show at the Hammerstein…and we just had to check out the new talent on the scene. We can count on Gen Art to promote emerging talent, especially in fashion and there’s something so inspiring about seeing a designer develop.
The competition is an invitation to the world’s aspiring designers that have had their own label for less than seven years. 30 finalists’ pieces were judged on the spot by industry elite like Cynthia Rowley, John Bartlett, IMG’s Fern Mallis, and Elle’s Isabel Dupre.
Recognition, money, and exposure…not a bad deal!
