Designer, Stanley Adams, was born on Friday the 13th, the month of July, year 1979 in Memphis, Tennessee. His artistic talents were first noticed in 1991 after attending creative and performing art schools for 7 years.
He desired to enter the world of fashion because he wanted to transform his artistic ability and ideas of color, shape, and concept into beautiful forms and silhouettes of haute couture that he was amazed by in the Parisian houses of Dior, Emanual Ungaro, Valentino, and Christian Lacroix. After this fascination with haute couture, he traveled to Paris and studied photography at Speos, which enriched his sensibility and style.
Stanley Adams Couture is meant for the upscale workingwoman. She is between the ages of 24 and 40. She loves to dress simple but attractive. Her wild side is reflected by injections of color and “wearable” innovative shapes and silhouettes. Silk is as close to her as a newborn baby girl or boy. She’s confident in what she wears and her disposition is distinctive and unique. She is modern elegance.
The inspiration for the Fall 2006 collection is simply the hardships that one endures while creating flawless clothing. In Stanley’s words, “there are many red flags planted and long nights endured” in order to be where Stanley now finds himself. Well, the long nights have paid off. We were impressed with the elegant simplicity of the black silk-satin open v neck halter dress with white trim and our attention was unwavering as we glanced at the black iridescent velvet dress with high slit and cowl in back, lined with desert rose silk chiffon. This is typical stylish Stanley: classicism with a dash of erotic seasoning
