This Valentine's Day stay home and heat things up

by Yvette Coleman
Shaving has always been an every day routine for men Usually it is a task they perform themselves before work or during the occasional visit to the barbershop for a shave. This Valentine's Day Master Barber for King of Shaves, Diane Wood, provides tips to turn this ordinary task into an extraordinary, sexy affair that you can do together. How to Shave Your Man:

Get Steamy Take a hot shower, the heat will open pores and soften stubble, making whiskers easier to shave.

Heat things up After you dry off, leave his face damp and massage shaving oil into his skin. Plant-based shaving oil, such as King of Shaves AlphaOil Cooling, leaves skin silky smooth and will not clog pores. Added luxury: layer products such as King of Shaves AlphaGel over shaving oil to provide the silkiest shave possible.

Ready, Set, Shave! Once your partner is ready to be shaved, start with his cheeks and slowly work your way down, leaving the chin area (where the beard is toughest) for last so it is properly softened. Remember to shave in the direction of hair growth to minimize irritation and guarantee the smoothest results.

Be Gentle with Him Rinse the razor often to clean the blade. Do not press the razor down too hard.

Cool Off Finish the shave by rinsing his face with cool water to close pores. Pat, don't rub, to dry the face.

Rub Down Give him a soft, soothing face and shoulder massage using an oil-free moisturizer.

Warning: Providing your man with a personalized barbershop shave can lead to increased physical activity.
