Have Faith Swimgerie is a Swimwear Power House resulting from the merger of
two distinctive Swim-Lines, the sexy and sweet Have Faith Swimwear (www.HaveFaith.com)
started by model and designer Jennifer Stano David, and the lingerie inspired
seductive Femme Noir Swimgerie (www.Swimgerie.com)
started by attorney and designer Lilly Ghalichi. The two companies merged in
late 2011, and best friends quickly became a dynamic duo of unstoppable businesswomen.
The brand is set to release their first two collections since the merger along
with their all new website, which will be based at www.HaveFaith.com. The two
Summer 2012 Collections will include “The Desert” Collection of
sexy and sweet suits, as well as part two of the “Dentelle” Collection
(meaning “Lace” in French) consisting of seductive, lingerie inspired
suits. Head designers Jennifer Stano David and Lilly Ghalichi jointly created
both collections.
What differentiates your line from the other brands in your industry?
Two words: Fit and Uniqueness. Our suits really are the most flattering and
different out there. Finally there’s an alternative to the basic, boring
bikini and the barely there skimpy bikini. We’re something sexy that falls
in between.
What was your inspiration for your Spring 2012 collection?
For the “Desert Collection”, our inspirations included the naked
colors of the earth, the beautiful elements of nature, and the sexy curves of
a woman’s body. We tried to create suits that were as flattering as possible,
while remaining fun, flirty and girly. For the “Dentelle Collection”,
we looked to the bedroom for inspiration rather than traditional swimwear trends.
A woman always feels sexy and confident in lingerie, so we tried to capture
that allure that lingerie provides, and incorporate it into the collection of
Swimwear.
Do you design for both men and women?
Although we have exclusively done Women’s Swimwear up to now, we are set
to release our first Men’s Collection this July at Mercedes Benz Swimweek
in Miami. Get ready; it’s going to be HOT! Who says men can’t have
fun with their swimwear too?
