To Tailor or Not To Tailor

It’s often said that the clothes do not make the man or the man makes the clothes; either way, they sure better Fit. At Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2012, everybody was tailored; everybody’s clothes fit and everybody was noticed. Think: a cornucopia of stylish and modern suits, dresses, skirts, pants and sweaters.

Jeffrey Kalinsky arranged a memorable event with the annual fashion fundraiser benefiting the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. The clothing was bright, simple and wearable. Why Wearable? Simply put, I would have purchased practically everything and been completely ready for Spring/Summer 2012. There were shorts, pants, shirts, t-shirts and jackets in yellows, greens, blues and earth tones. Believe me - you will be all set for the Caribbean, Europe, the Hamptons, the Vineyard or any metropolis – a well prepared world traveler.

I left Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2012 thinking: people, fashion, cameras, Intrepid, more than $600,000 raised...and, of course, always be tailored. Thanks to Colin McPhee, of Charles Tyrwhitt, for making sure I was tailored.
