This complete line of tie-dye selections and creative designs that replicates tats will give you a casual feel while out and about on the town. This L.A. based company was originally owned and operated by French designer, Phillip Teboul. In 2006, the company was purchased by current, CEO Albert Elkouby. Soon after the company soared with force encompassing the newest trends such as the distressed, crinkled and retro tie-dye “hippie” style for the Hollywood, rock styled looks for the rich and famous. The company expanded by creating a complete in-house manufacturing facility where the entire production process is under one roof in the hottest spot in L.A. While the company started out as a simple tee collection, Elkouby evolved it into a brand that is truly a one of a kind lifestyle brand.
The additional magic behind this company is Monique Abergel and her design team who creates the non-traditional, silk-screened logos and tie-dye inspired art which compliments any vintage jean that you can pair it with - crew necks, v-necks, tees and tanks that feature appliquéd crystals and ornate foil and regular screen printing. They also design long sleeved dress hoodies, tank dresses, ½ sleeved dress tunics and the sweatshirt tunic rib. The designers also welcome their biggest celebrity fans to create their custom pieces to wear or to give to their faithful followers.
Although Sledge is targeted for young, contemporary and junior women, in the near future, Sledge will launch a men's wear.
