Donna L’oren Spring 2006
Interviewed & Written By Yvette Coleman
Fun and sassy. The idea to bring a fresh approach to the lingerie
business couldn’t have come at a better time. The two
young ladies behind the bras are Kristin Montalbano and Clare
Nehra, both graduates from Marymount University in Arlington,
Virginia. They combined their passions for all things “girlie”
to design the bras. They are succeeding by pronouncing Donna
L’oren into the forefront of today’s fashionable
lingerie.
The look is sexy with sheer prints, bold and soft colors,
lace trimmings and texture rich fabrics. These two ladies
have given us a reason to throw away the granny panties and
try something fun, outgoing, and feminine. Versatile in style,
every woman can find what works for them from boy shorts to
thongs, bralets adorned with lace, mesh, bows and ribbons,
to risqué bustiers and colorful corsets, to flirtatious
camisoles. Whether you are on the go in jeans and a t-shirt,
relaxing on the couch, or setting the mood for an evening,
they create designs that “encourage both a sultry sexiness
and a demure girlishness without resorting to indecent frills.”
Donna L’oren’s Gold Label Collection adds oomph
by defining the breasts and gives the girls a lift with underwire,
and padded bras in a subtle and sexy way. The collection gives
enhancement and support, with molded cups and stretchy straps,
without ever sacrificing sex appeal.
They are available in many department stores all over the US
