KASIL introduces new colors for the “Cloud 9” fall ’05
collection. This season KASIL is incorporating rich new hues
with their signature “Diamond V-Back” pocket detail
and their new style “Devon.”
KASIL jeans are available in a range of styles for women including
Boot Cut, Slim Fit and Boy Cut. Kasil jeans are available in
five denim wash categories: Rinse Born, Atlantic, Baltic, Pacific
and Destruct, light destructed faded denim. This fall, twills
are available in rich colors such as scarlet, aqua, teal, army,
plum, chocolate, charcoal, crème, nickel and majestic.
Prices range from $165 to $185 and they are sold nationwide. |
Kasil was established in February 2002, founded
and designed by David Lim.
David's combination of visionary designs, technique in innovative
wash processes on denim, and knowledge of tailoring led him to
create his own line, Kasil.
Since its inception in 2002, Kasil has been able to catch the eye
of leading denim manufacturers and the fashion forward populace,
during a tough market. Kasil products have been featured in NYLON,
CLEAR, WWD, INSTYLE, VEGAS, GLAMOUR, JANE, INTOUCH and SURFACE
magazine's Denim Forever editorial.
About the Fit:
Kasil’s Basic 5 pocket jeans have a very flattering form.
The fit has been tailored for the average sized woman, with a
grading inseam of 31 to 34 inches and a 7.5 and 8-inch rise.
The proportionally sized back pockets contour your rear to enhance
definition. The placement of our back pockets gives the rear
a balanced look with the overall body. We focus on the back pockets
so that it gives the rear a curvier fit. Our light hand sanding
on the front leg works to slenderize the thighs. Less attention
to the whickers gives the leg a longer look. Our denim only has
a 1-2% Lycra stretch, which lifts and shapes the rear and at
the same time slenderizes the thighs.
Kasil jeans are made for every body type. They make every body
type look like Kasil jeans were made especially for them.
About the Jeans:
Fit, comfort and detailing are Kasil's main ingredients for
the Basic 5. Kasil’s Basic 5 is designed with Kasil’s
signature “Diamond V” back pocket embroidery. Kasil
also includes in their collection the “Season’s Back”,
corduroy and other cotton fabrics in the back pocket trim that
changes in accordance to the season.
Kasil uses only quality ring spun denims, twills, and cotton
knits from mills located in the U.S., Italy, Canada and Japan
to create a distinctive look and finish to its collection. Production
and manufacturing of Kasil products are based exclusively in
the U.S. and outsourced locally to established contractors. When
creating the tailored jeans, all pre-production samples are wear
tested and wash tested. Hand abrasion and other unique wash techniques
are extensively tested and approved before production. All Kasil
Jean products are carefully inspected and then shipped to select
stores in America, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong
Kong, London and Canada.
Evolving Denim Identity:
The denim apparel industry matures as jeans are worn for any
and every occasion. The altered concept of denim has created
an opportunity for Kasil to enter this growing market. Kasil
addresses the needs of quality-seeking customers of high-end
denim while also looking for a modern interpretation of the quintessential
