Make Your Honey Swoon on Your Honeymoon
By Casey Kettleson
Your wedding dress may be the most important garment on your mind, but don’t forget to think of the other outfits you’ll be needing once you’ve wed and jet off on your honeymoon. Whether venturing off to the south of France, Bora Bora, tropical Hawaii, or relaxing in the Florida Keys, you’ll be needing a suitcase (or 3) packed with the essentials to get you from looking sexy poolside chic to evening romantic.
For warm, tropical getaways, there is no avoiding the water and although you’ve already snagged your man and are proudly displaying the rock, you’ll still want to keep him at bay, wanting more. Wearing the tiniest Brazilian bikini may seem like the obvious choice, but you want to feel both beautiful and comfortable poolside and baring it all may not quite accomplish that…although neither will sitting underneath an oversized t-shirt!
When choosing a suit, try not to only think of the areas you want hidden, but also those you are proud of and want to accentuate. So what if you have a short torso? You may also have killer abs and a great bust! So stretch your mid-section and show off that stomach with a low-rise bottom and perhaps try an attention-drawing halter. Maybe your thighs drive you crazy and you wish they were half their size, but they aren’t and you’ve got to work with what you have! Try wearing a suit with a patterned top, dark bottom and high-cut leg to stretch and thin out your legs and direct attention upward.
