| Fashion-savvy fans are hoofing it to Los Angeles’ trendy
boutique as YNOP3 (yes, that’s pony spelled backwards)
gives the sophisticated shopper a new reason to visit Cahuenga
Pass. Beneath its equestrian décor and the life-size
Plexiglas horse posted in the window, YNOP3 has seen a steady
run of clientele including its celebrity shoppers snatching
up the latest goods.
As the brainchild of established designers Anamyn Turowski
and Paula Scolaro, YNOP3 caters to the eco-chic shopper who
seeks a stylish and original look. YNOP3, which opened in
September 2004, carries the duo’s several clothing
lines: Ynnub, Claude, Claudette, Veteran (co-designed with
eco-style icon Danny Seo) and Ynop3. Each collection takes
the literal definition of recycling to new heights with its
practical, funky and stylish new designs. YNOP3 also carries
Farmer’s Jeans, a LA-based denim line of funky jeans.

| “There are few designers out there who
marry whimsical with classic style – and Anamyn Turowski
is one of them,” Seo
said. “Her clothes are original, fresh and fun – and
luxurious at the same time. I love the recycled cashmere sweaters
and ponchos, and I know my celebrity clients flip for them.”The

first collection for Claude, the children’s
line of re-worked vintage that includes Led Zeppelin onezies
to flowery patchwork dresses Scolaro also acts as co-designer
for the younger, trendier line Ynnub, a line that is “a
bit more street-style and very rock ’n’ roll
inspired.”
YNOP3 is not merely a retail outlet bit also the name of
Turowski’s newest collection, and one she is particularly
excited about. “These are women’s clothes created
from beautiful top-quality vintage fabric with a lot of detail
and exquisite hand working,” Turowski said. “They
are just gorgeous – really feminine, yet wearable.
Grace Kelly was our biggest inspiration.”
After growing up in an environmentally aware house, Turowski
carried her parent’s eco-friendly ways with her, now
favoring vintage fabrics and materials in an effort to both
curb wastefulness and give her a heightened sense of social
well being. Hoping to pass these ideas on to others, Turowski
encourages her customers to spoil themselves, their children,
and in turn, help the environment.
The store has attracted an A-list celebrity clientele including
Brad Pitt, Lisa Kudrow. Bruce Willis, Eric McCormick, , Patricia
Arquette, and Rebecca Romijn to name a few.
