Jacalyn Bennett started nearly 25 years ago doing private labels for other major brands. Most recently she decided to have a brand to call her own.

I had the opportunity to meet Jacalyn Bennett at the Lingerie of Americas and one of the things that caught my attention in the sea of panties was her color choices, her beadwork, and the glamour appeal that seemed very striking even hanging from the wall. Subsequent to this meeting, we had an opportunity to shoot with her pieces and make them come to life. Not surprisingly, one of the continuous things that the models spoke about was the fit and how beautiful the pieces were. In all honesty neither of them had ever heard of Jacalyn Bennett and I felt inspired to shed light on her line to our subscribers because her product has a sophisticated quality and is beautiful for women of all ages. Bennett’s line is all about glamour and is “very luxurious, with all of the beading and lace to make the customer feel special,” says Jacalyn Bennett.

The corsets are one of the line’s most striking pieces because they can be worn out into town with jeans, heels and a velvet blazer, as an example.

Attention to detail is another trademark of Jacalyn Bennett. She reminds customers that: “pieces are handmade with peace and love in every garment …very detailed and special for each look,” says Bennett.

Colors are darker, deeper Eggplant, very rich blues, and brown with velvet for the fall, while keeping with their corsetry. Comfort and beauty will always be the design focus for this line.
