Kentucky Denim

Kentucky Denim was launched in 2006 with six styles of denim for men. It can't get anymore "vintage" and "American" than what "Kentucky" implies. The “Americana” feel of the brand has become a success and can be purchased in several trendy boutiques such as Fred Segal, Lisa Kline, M Fredric, Planet Funk and many others. Kentucky Denim has expanded and now offers t-shirts, jackets, and button downs as part of its collection.

For the winter collection Kentucky Denim will offer dark coated washes and fitted styles with aesthetically pleasing form and function that will become your fashion staple for seasons to come.

Finish the following sentence: The celebrity that best embodies our brand is…Matthew McConaughey...because he just oozes with confidence and that is what Kentucky Denim is all about being confident in one's skin.

Who is your ideal customer and why? Someone who is confident in himself...who doesn't need to follow trends, but rather wears what he is comfortable with.

What trends are you seriously tired of and hope will remain in 2008? I won’t name any names but please no more tattoo inspired jeans.

What trends do you expect will be big next season?
We’re expecting lots of hardware, leather, and nail heads, coated denim and dip dye washes...vintage inspired rock n' roll.

What's next for Kentucky Denim?
We just recently launched our women's division. It was a success. The line includes nine styles of denim, knit t-shirts and wovens. The collection will expand to denim dresses, skirts and shorts, as well as jackets. We hope to make the same impact as we did in the men's market.
