TUMI Spring 2008 Collection

For those that do not know…Tumi is known for its exceptional travel luggage and for durability. Smartly Tumi is branching out to handbags and fashionable travel bags as well as small leather goods. I expected to see tough leathers with limited details. However, once in the showroom I was proven wrong.

The bags are durable and have a feminine personality, with details that only add to the exceptional work that Tumi is known for. The collection has some striking lime green small leather goods. We were enamored by an alligator embossed hand held tote bag that also was shown in white and green patent leather. A pleasant surprise was to see a distressed silver metallic leather bag that is big enough to travel with and also stylish enough for any fashionista’s stroll in the city. The linings of teal and brown strips in some of the wallets and handbags only added to the details that Tumi presented in its collection. This is a strong start with amazing potential!

Prices vary based on style, size and fabric, but for the most part range in the $300-$600 price point, with the exception of some of the novelty fabrics which retail closer to $850.
