Chimaera Crew, a group of four Japanese jewelry designers that united under the DARTS logo, launched a new line of edgy, yet sophisticated, jewelry for men. In 2003, the designers came together in order to create an accessories brand that tells the story of DARTS, a Japanese legend that dates back to the 16th century.

Long ago, there existed a human race that possessed extraordinary abilities and they were forced into war by those who wished to obtain their powers. After years of bloodshed, a decision was made to conceal their identities in order to live a life of peace. As the once noticeable race faded into a mere legend, they became known as DARTS, or the Dark side Inhabitants. All of their memories were sealed away, and it is only now that their presence is being revealed to the world.

The four Japanese designers of Chimaera Crew, under the pseudonyms of Taujan, Deaf Breed, Gigor, and Karshr, have created a brand of silver accessories that are interlinked with stories. Taujan designs feature pieces that are made to symbolize the warmth of the human touch and the elegance of the pulse of life in the flames of silver. Deaf Breed designs are geometric, gothic shapes that symbolize individuality. Gigor designs feature jagged, yet easy to wear, images of fangs and claws. Karshr designs, on the other hand, symbolize the human ability to persevere and rise to a challenge during periods of suffering.

While these accessories have attracted incredible attention in Japan, they have never before been available in the United States.
