For all those making their list and checking it twice this season…make sure that these items are included on your holiday wish list.
Every woman needs a fur.
This season runways were filled with luxurious, warm, and in some cases over the top furs. These lavish goods came in the form of fox tail purses, mink gloves, and muskrat tunics, just to name a few.
But, if one had to choose which form of fur to put on his/her holiday wish list, a cozy, stylish jacket is a must-have. The shorter the coat the better, as the floor length, over-the-top coats of the past are not making a come back anytime soon.
So, tell the one you love that a fur coat is practical as it will keep you warm and chic…and you will be the talk of the town.
It is also a good investment as you will be able to wear it for years on end.
Feminine scents that scream come hither are a staple in any woman’s wardrobe, and often times something we forget or think too little about. Choosing one’s scent is very important as often times it defines you; it’s the first thing that tantalizes people before they see you and the last thing that lingers on after you leave. Almost all the major designers have licensed out their brands to perfumeries all over the world, so there is bound to be a scent that is right for you. Testing out a scent on your wrist and wearing it for a day, then returning on a different day to test out another is the best way to be sure that a particular perfume is right for you. Jewelry is a woman’s best friend and what better item to put on your wish list than a diamond pendant necklace, or mother of pearl earrings?
Department stores and boutiques alike are displaying the best of the best this season just for you! The right piece of jewelry can highlight (and bring together) any ensemble from a simple v-neck, cotton t-shirt to an elegant, black, strapless evening gown.
Jewelry should be an extension of one’s style. Try not to chose a piece that is outside of your character as more than likely it will never leave it’s velveteen box. So, peruse the display cases this season, try some on, look in the mirror, and enjoy being a woman!
A lady never leaves home without her purse, as the old adage goes. But, this season who would want to? Designers were gracious enough to give us a plethora of options this season all with the most luxurious materials.
Bags this season are smaller and yet more elaborate. Purses from the top designers displayed crocodile skins, suedes, feathers, pony skins, all accentuated with the best hardware of silver, copper, or gold…and just in time for the holiday season!
When choosing your purse keep in mind the size, fabric, and hardware. Do chose a bag in proportion with your body.
Don’t choose a bag with fabric that doesn’t meet your lifestyle. And Do consider whether or not the hardware on the bag matches that of your other accessories.
You are your skin care regimen;the two are one and the same. How you treat your skin says a lot not only about your hygiene, but also about you as a person. Treat yourself this holiday season with some of the best products out there for your skin as there are oodles to choose from. Try a lavender scented bubble bath, or a vanilla scented body scrub to show that you care about…well…you!
Enjoy relaxing at the end of a hard day shopping, of course, with a newly purchased treat for your skin and you will see a difference from that hard soap you are using to scrub your face at night. Your skin will exfoliate, soften, and glow with thanks for thinking about yourself this season.
