Grey is the New Black

This Fall/Winter Season is full of neutral colors, but the focus is mainly on greys. Designers have put grey in the spotlight, and it has quickly become the new black of the season. It can be sported in your ensemble as a jacket, tights, dress, or even your snow-sloshing boots, because just like black, grey goes with everything!

The runways and clothes racks are jam-packed with looks of grey on grey in all sorts of lush fabrics and textures. The message to the fashion forward woman is simple: Don’t be afraid of sporting a monotone silhouette of grey. Thus, with this encouragement, go out and buy a warm sweater of ashen grey cashmere, or a coweled long-sleeved blouse colored in stoned grey, or an oversized-gravel-grey-ostrich-leather bag. Now is the time to include grey items into your wardrobe as staple items, as they can be worn year in and year out.

Men’s sized cardigans for women a look that many Designers from all over the globe included in their Fall/Winter Collections. This look is simple and a must have in any women’s closet. It can be paired with a knee length skirt, a pair of old jeans that fit like a glove, or paired with your empire-waisted dress from this summer.

The wonderful thing about these sweaters is that they are meant to look like your grand-father passed it down to you and it has been worn for years. Models sported these Mr. Roger’s assets, slightly oversized and hanging at hip length in various neutral colors. The look is simple and easy to accomplish; no matter what you are wearing…grab your boyfriends or Dad’s, or Uncle’s old sweater from the attic…and go.
