THE BEST IN BEAUTY

The best in beauty were vying to be named CEW’s
(Cosmetic Executive Women) Beauty award winner. New
York’s Metropolitan Ballroom was replete with
brand names we all know and love as well as new challengers
with bright and gleaming ideas. The CEW award celebrates
products for their ingenuity to consumers’ quality
of life. The CEW Beauty Awards is the only awards program
to be chosen exclusively by beauty insiders. The
annual slate of winners, handpicked by professionals
in the field, has become consumers’ most coveted
shopping list.
Over 625 beauty products were entered this year by
a variety of companies. I found several companies that
were note worthy and we will share them in our upcoming
beauty bags. Here are a few we decided to focus on this
month: Grassroots Happily Ever After
exuberant blend of Essential Oils of Florentine Orange
and Sicilian Mandarin with lilting Provencal Jasmine;
NIA 24, the new development in therapeutic

The CEW Board of Governors will vote on the 170 Finalists
to determine the best in beauty across 33 categories.
On May 2nd, the esteemed list of winners will be announced
at the CEW Beauty Awards Luncheon at the Waldorf-Astoria
in New York City. In addition to bestowing honors on
the best products of the year, the CEW Beauty Awards
will announce the winner of the “Indie Beauty
Award,” which recognizes the creativity and entrepreneurial
spirit of a small independent beauty company. This year’s
Indie Finalists include Oscar Blandi Products LLC, EasyStraight,
mally Beauty, SpaRitual International, skyn ICELAND,
JEMMA KIDD MAKE UP SCHOOL, and JONATHAN|product.
