“Fashion wasn’t what you wore someplace anymore; it was the whole reason for going.” - - Andy Warhol. When I entered the room it was like I was in the middle of 1984. Patrons saluted the collaboration by wearing Levi slim denim, high top sneakers, and fluorescent colored headbands and accessories.

The unique bond between Levi and infamous artist Andy Warhol began when he decided to make the brand the subject for a series of paintings. Andy Warhol challenged the world to see art differently and secured a place in the public's imagination. As a commercial artist, he produced art through sculpture, paintings, drawing, film, photography, and even literature. His cultural legacy continues to spark interest and through this collaboration with Levi's, both icons become transcendent.

The Andy Warhol Foundation and Levi Strauss & Co. have entered into a licensing agreement in which the Levi’s brand will direct the design, and marketing of a super-premium collection of jeans, tops, sweaters, and jackets for men and women under the name, “Warhol Factory X Levi’s.” The collection has embellished jackets and denim with imagery from Andy Warhol’s pop artwork.

There are also some rivets trimmed with bullet replicas to represent the dark period from the life and death experience he encountered. The collection debuts this spring andis available at super-premium retailers. It is priced between $190-$250 for jeans and $80-$300 for tops.

“This is the pairing of two great American icons to bring trend-right product to consumers looking for something truly original and authentic,” said Robert Hanson Levi’s® brand U.S. president.
