Wash brushes once a week with Brush Shampoo and Conditioner.  Wet brush and apply a dime-sized amount to the bristles and gently shampoo out color and bacteria.  Rinse, tap off excess water and let air dry.  Between washings, use jane iredale’s Botanical Brush Cleaner to quickly clean and condition using natural cleaning agents and conditioning seaweed and grapefruit extracts.

The jane iredale collection of brushes have a soft to the touch feel and are gentle to the skin. She chooses to use a hand tied technique that tapers the ends of hair by hand molding the bristles to the shape required.

Chisel Powder: Use with loose powders.  Composed of pony and goat hairs.

The Handi: Wonderful to use with pressed powders and also for loose powders and blush.  Composed of squirrel hairs.
White Fan:  Use for blush and bronzer.  Composed of boar’s bristle.
Eye Shader: Use for the eye base shade.  Composed of goat hair. Eye Contour: Use for the eye accent of color.  Composed of goat hair. Eye Liner/Brow:  Use to line shadow or pencil close to the upper and lower lashes. Flip over and use the sponge tip to smudge the eye line. Also use to shape eyebrows with shadow.  Composed of synthetic fibers to give stiffest bristles and maximum control.
Lip Brush:  100 percent sable.
