Tracy Reese fashion designer brings beauty
to a purpose. The introduction of mark.
by avon and the American Legacy
Foundation dedicated their talents to educating
young people about the harms of tobacco and offering
encouragement to quit the habit. The American
Legacy Foundation, a national public health
organization located in Washington, D.C., develops programs
that address the health effects of tobacco use.
Tracy has been featured in countless high-fashion publications
such as Vogue, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar
as well as on the cover of Lucky, both Tracy
Reese and Plenty by Tracy Reese have become fashion
favorites. Tracy brings her style to a black fitted
v-neck “T” that incorporates sunburst symbols,
dispersed between white piping. Proceeds from the sale
of the exclusive “T” go to support Legacy’s
life-saving programs to keep young people from starting
to smoke, help people who are struggling to quit and
protect everyone from secondhand smoke.
Tracy Reese has the ear of fashionistas and
she is using her name and beliefs for a cause that can
influence the industry. “Smoking
should not be seen as a sexy accessory, and it is my
personal mission to change that conception and build
up confidence in young women so they don’t cave
into peer pressure,” says Tracy Reese. “I’m
excited to be working with American Legacy because they
recognize these challenges and work alongside young
women to fight smoking. Partnering with mark will
truly help expand the reach of our message.”
The "T" will be available exclusively through
mark representatives, www.meetmark.com and in Tracy
Reese’s flagship New York City boutique.
The “T” is available starting in mid-November
and will retail for $35.
Tracy Reese and Plenty by Tracy Reese are sold at the Flagship Boutique in New York City, nationwide to top department stores and specialty boutiques including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman, Ron Herman and Scoop. |
