Never stopping at boundaries, LRG’s
introduction of its sexy counterpart "Luxirie"
in spring 2006 has continued to inspire by being on
the luxurious plush side of fashion. The collection
twists the regular spelling of "luxury" into
Lux-irie (pronounced Lux-I-Ree); "Irie" means
a celebration of life, higher being and a lifted sense
of self. But the Luxirie collection is more than just
a clever play on the word "Luxury."
Luxirie is an art driven collection
of cultures, memories of the past and dreams of the
future. For the Spring 2007 collection, Luxirie
encompasses style and comfort for everyone. The young
woman that wears Luxirie wants to be sexy yet comfortable
- - she is ready to make a statement while being an
individual. She’ll enjoy the entire collection
from: cycle heart logo group, (our favorite of
the groups), rasta, fashion sport, military influenced
wear with a feminine feel, along with the nature group,
which “reminds us to give back from where
we take. Native and western to remind us where
we have been, and sport groups that help us be comfortable
and enjoy life to the fullest.”
Luxirie makes its own line in the sand and stands determined
not to be pigeonholed by terms like “urban”
or “street wear” - - Luxirie sets
its own terms and isn't afraid to stand within its established
identity. “We never limit our Brand,
we go whereever we want and we are not afraid to be
loud.” By staying ahead of the
game Luxirie will continue to push the envelope. Luxirie
can take cues from its successful men's line, LRG, which
is to say Luxirie is poised to change the role of women’s
fashion for future generations.
