DEAR SUMMER,
We miss your warm clear waters, sugar fine sands and
your sunny blue skies have kept all of our thoughts
all winter long. We have wiggled our toes in our
winter boots, scrapped and shoveled snow, caught a cold
or two, schlepped through the city with scarves, parkas
and gloves. Whew!! Summer, you are slowly but
surely blazing in and it’s time to get in gear,
polish those toes, slim it down, and shine it up! We
at Fashion Ledge want to help you re-introduce yourselves
to SUMMER! As you go through your closets and
wrangle through your short sleeve crisp tees, tank tops,
sandals and hats to figure out which ones still fit
after remembering all the turkey, pies and cookies that
we’ve all feasted on during the holidays.
Some of us will venture off to the gym to shed a few
pounds and shop for some new duds or some of us will
accept the extra sexiness and go shopping anyway!
Don’t be afraid. I know we have all gone to a
boutique with triple sided mirrors and fluorescent lights
and thought: what happened, where did that come from?
- - Is that really me? Or maybe you’re uber prepared
and you've been anticipating showing off a new hot bod
and have been working up a sweat with your iPod listening
to Notorious DUETS and you are totally amazing! Either
way, we at Fashion Ledge would like to share with you
a superior part of the summer: SWIMWEAR!
I love the beach and relish any moment that I can relax
in the sun, twinkle my toes in the sand, play in the
water and come home looking like a golden beach babe!
This issue we will focus on the premiere talent in the
swim industry that adhere to the basics of summer: COMFORT,
FUN, FIT, COLOR and SEXY! We have taken the time
to get to know the industry's top brands. These are
the trailblazers, trendsetters and pathfinders and we
allowed them to open themselves up to the Fashion Ledge
audience and share their passion for all elements that
make summer the season where life begins!
So enjoy our summer issue, visit their websites and
most importantly, HAVE FUN!
Fashionably Yours,
