A nice, sleek, retro pair of sneakers, earrings with the right stone setting, or a stylish handbag that can be dangled loosely, almost carelessly from the arm - - these are some of the cornerstones of our wardrobes. Accessories have always been the heart of every outfit. Yes, the Pierre Katra gown did fit you righteously, but those tan pumps and oval diamond stud earrings made you “regal.” How many times has the subtleness of the stainless steel watch exuded your importance before you spoke?

These are examples of how the right accessory can make an outfit (and sometimes the wrong accessory can destroy an otherwise chic ensemble). Fashion insiders have known for a long time that how one “feels” when wearing particular clothing is as important as how the clothing actually looks. After all, it is all about attitude, n’est pas?
